Today was a simpler day, mostly a classic road trip of driving, stopping and enjoying the different terrain. Even the right was different, and instead of vast Sitka wood forest, we traveled in rolling hills, fileds of flowers used to create Canola oil, and agricultural landscape. The roadsides were well maintained, and all the grass was cut for kilometers. We arrived early at Beaton Provincial park on the banks of Charlie Lake and enjoyed a great outdoor cooked Mexican dinner. The sun is setting before 10:00pm, and we can enjoy the sunset now.
