That was the last day and night in the US – and we used it to explore Seattle from a little bit of distance.
The public ferry to Bainbridge departs very frequently from pier 50 and costs less than $10. The trip back from
Bainbridge is, surprisingly… free. The short 30-minute ride offers good views of the city and the surrounding snowcapped mountains on a nice day. Bainbridge is a cheeky place, with nice mainstreet, laid-back cafes, and a nice atmosphere upon returning to Seattle, we kissed Keren good bey, took her to the airport – and ..started our real vacation. As the famous Hebrew is saying החופש שלך נגמר, החופש שלנו רק מתחיל (your vacation is over, our vacation is just beginning). We stocked for the journey in Costco next to the airport and went to a great pub (Tavern Hall, 505 Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA 98004) to see the Warriors winning the NBA championship. FUN!
Tomorrow – we head to Canda
